A New LTL 9000
Well, at least it looks new. This picture was made by the ATHS photographers at the ATHS National convention at Springfield MO. the last week if May this year. The ole LTL was standing tall and shining. It looks as if it could be brand new, when in reality it is twenty-eight years old.

Sam, I have been looking for the set of inner fenders that are attached to the frame when the hood is tilted. They have two twist locks and come off for ease of engine maintenance. Their purpose is to keep water from the engine compartment then the truck is running in heavy rain. I was running through so much water coming back through west Texas this past weekend that I thought I was going to drown my alternator out. Please check and see if your friend has any. I am certainly willing to pay a fair and reasonable price for any that he has.

to tell the truth I cant remember ever seeing those at least around here.
And the trucks I drove both Cat Detroits Cummins none had inners. I
would try it boat yard style. Make stiff carboard templets and firbre glass
right over the cardboard. Thats how I made my heat and a/c housings.
My thinking every car and truck now a days has plastic inner fenders.
I'll keep my eye open
