The big question is how do they perform, ride, etc? I considered them for my 2006 but got rid of it before I pulled the trigger on the purchase. The 2011 isn't as bad as the 2006 was.

the ride isn't bad actually ..i heard they make it stiffer and thats true but i like the ride better the truck feels more solid when taking off and stopping i took a video with my gopro before i installed and today when i was driving around there very little "axle wrap" now and they can be adjusted when i tow my boat which ill pay attention to how they feel when i get that hitched up tomorrow

Pretty bad I didn't realize until I took a video the rear axle will move up and down 4-6 inches pulling out on the drive shaft

my plate says black smoke and it references the history of diesel engines producing black smoke I took the picture down because It was hard to see the caltracs axle brackets

Maybe YOU should remove that video, profanity isn't acceptable in this forum.

I didn't notice and it automatically embeds youtube vids, now a gotta click it.

IMO though the actions in the vid and rolling around with a plate that says "black smoke" is MUCH more profane then the F word.

Caltrac is big with drag racers! They are very effective, but a lot of people complain of a harsh ride and they sometimes develop an annoying rattle with age/wear.
