I have had several black vehicles and nothing looks sharper, but it is impossible to keep them clean because everything shows up. You have a great looking rig and I think in time you will not let the little spots bother you as much as the enjoyment of having such a nice looking bronco.
Also I personally think it was a good thing you did selling that bronco back to the original owner. Shows you are a class act.
For years I tried to find the 94 black bronco I bought new and couldn't ever find it. It's probably a good thing I didn't because a guy bought it for his son going to collage and it probably had a rough life.
Guess I'll just be happy with what I have have.

I love this "Free Wheelin" package and my Bronco is in paint now. I considered doing this to mine, but someone already has one in the Portland area... LANCE!
Someday I might do a Free Wheelin paint scheme to go in my '70's Collection but first I think I have to find my Macho Power Wagon...

I think there should be multiple Freewheeling rigs running around our area! I used to see 3-4 of them on a regular basis, 15+ years ago. The only one I've seen in the last 8-9 years besides my own got shipped down to Phoenix. There have been a couple on Craigslist up in WA, but I haven't laid eyes on them.
I agree, those Power Wagons are really cool. I looked at one years ago with the intent of buying it, but the floors were so rusted out I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I didn't have the means to do the repairs back then. What can I say, I'll always be a sucker for the 70's style, no matter what the haters say.

The Bronco seemed to be running hot, even on cool 60 degree days. So I changed out what had to be the original thermostat. I put in a 180* stat, drove it today, 90 degree day, it still ran hot, really hot.
The needle wasn't over the normal range but right on the L, I really only sat at one stop light.

Putting in a cooler stat to fix an overheating problem is a terrible idea.
Ford gauges aren't known for their accuracy. The first thing you have to do is determine what actual temperature the coolant is at. If you don't want to install an aftermarket gauge, you can use an infrared temp check to check the temps of the return and intake hoses between the pump and the radiator.

Replaced the rear pinion seal, last week I replaced the radiator with one of these
