Will the bed off of a 1985 F250 8' bed fit on my 1987 F150 8' bed?

 

Mounts are the same, but what do you have for fuel tanks on your 150? The filler caps may be the only mismatched part.

 

It will but an 85 has different body lines then the 87. 87s have round wheel wells where as 85s have more of a squared wheel well. Unfortuntely my computer won't let me post a pic of what I am talking about.

Also the end of the bed is rounded on the 87s where as the 85s are squared.

The 87s have a different tailgate then the 85s although you can swap them by swapping some parts off them. If I could post a pic I would show you but my computer is acting up.

Finally was able to upload pics. 85 beds and tailgates look like the blue truck above.

87 beds look like my 88 F150 below:



Sorry that my 88 has fender flares but it is the same arch as the flares.

It's fine, as long as they're interchangable. I'm taking a utility body off a 85 250 and putting it on a 87 150
