New Member, Floor pan problems.

Hey everyone, JHBstyle here, new to FTE and can't wait for all the great help I Know I will get. My vehicle is a '02 E250 4.2v6 wheel chair conversion, I bought cause I like the extra height (spent many years as a tradesman crouched over in vans) and I also love having a lift!! Shes got 274000+ on the ticker and Im hoping to get many more miles!

My main problem Im having is rotted out floor pans, and Ive looked around online trying to find replacements, and I cant find anything!! My great local parts store has the same problem, can order just about every body part for a 92-07 E-series but no floor pans. Wondering if anyone has done this job or knows of anybody thats making new floor parts! Thanks for all your help -JHBstyle

Can you describe a bit more or better yet have photos of the affected areas, perhaps showing the extent of rust so far?

In the meantime here are two images from a Mitchell crash book showing part numbers for various floor parts. Prices shown are current as of 2010 so please keep that in mind. Also pay close attention to the labor hours associated with those parts----they're pretty plentiful.

Tell me also if this conversion kept the factory-type rubber mat since new?

Hope this helps a little----and welcome to FTE!

Thanks JWA, not at the truck right now for pics, but I def need panels 1,2,and 5. seems pricey I may come up with another fabrication solution. The amount of work doesn't frighten me, done many restorations of this sort, was just having an impossible time finding the parts online or locally!
