what guage to install?
So I have a quad pillar guage set with boost Pyro tranny and fuel pressure. I also have the 650 dash kit from riffraff with 2 empty holes in it currently. I'm pretty set on the 2nd Pyro (and a shuffling around of guages so there spots make sense) but I'm unsure of what I should get.
I'm currently considering oil temp or oil pressure. Any insight appreciated. Thanks

I am totally dual pyros - it is so "cool" to catch any imbalances on the injectors.
I don't know why coolant temp would be important - the Engine Oil Temp pretty much represent the temperature of the coolant, engine, and oil - all in one reading on the OBDII port (the transmission temperature is there too). I welcome counterpoints to this assertion.
Fuel Pressure, Boost (because I exceed the limits of the MAP sensor), Low-Pressure Oil pressure, and maybe differential temperature if you tow.

The OP said he already had a fuel pressure gauge in his first post.
After installing the 650 dash kit, adding your fifth gauge, and shifting your existing gauge positions around, and having one hole left... I would consider deleting the 4 pillar pod and going to a 3 pillar pod so you can swing the sun visor up and down directly.
I've always wanted something similar to that three gauge cluster on the top center of the dash that Mitsubishi wowed the automotive market with in 1983 in their newly announced Montero. It had an altimeter, and inclinometer, and I forget the other gauge, perhaps a compass. I'd like an altimeter though.

I'll stick with my coolant temp recommendation for someone looking to fill holes in their dash, like the OP. I want hard gauges for things I can't get from the PCM (e.g. fuel pressure) or that I want to see all the time (e.g. tranny temp). I don't drive around with Torque running, unless I'm driving a long way, and sometimes then only if I'm towing. So, if I had an extra hole in the dash, I'd like to have coolant temp visible to me on demand, and that'd be one more reason to leave my phone in my pocket.
I assume the OP is a big boy, though, and will select something that's valuable to him.

I really like the idea of side by side pyros just so I can see the balance as tugly described it. I also agree that coolant temp pretty much = oil temp, and I have torque for the long hot days I feel like checking it. Lpop would be cool to see but it's pretty much only gonna tell me when my pump is failing or if my hpop res is empty like in a no start situation.
I do not tow often or all that heavy so don't think I need the rear diff temp.
I dunno when I'll pull the trigger on this but as of right now I'm leaning towards going to the 3 pillar (I forgot I can't use the sun visor easily) and just getting the 2nd Pyro. Appreciate the feedback.
