Got new sights for the little kahr. I'll post up some photos when I install them.

Currently looking to trade a nice 9mm for a semi-auto 12ga. My pump is great for multipurpose stuff and for slugs. But I've been wanting a semi for birds/ducks. Waiting for the right deal to come along. Hopefully before duck season is over.

When the heck did shotgun shells get so expensive?

I've wondered if there were an Academy Sports around. Haven't seen one advertised. We had one back in Springfield Mo. When they had a sale going, their prices were hard to beat.

Academy has been around for awhile but seems mostly out towards the west. My uncle used to get me gear from there on occasion.

So I decided to get a drift sight installed in the front instead of the stock post sight. I handed it over to my gunsmith to cut the front dovetail and install the front and rear sights. He's backed up so it might be a month before I get it back. No big deal. I'd rather it be right then fast.

Uh oh. Not much can fix the gun fever except getting a gun.

I almost traded my eagle 9 for a beretta semi auto 12 the other day. Glad I didn't. The beretta is a nice gun but the model I was looking at does not do well in wet or harsh conditions. Screw that. I need to be able to dunk my gun in the swamp, pick it up and be able to fire. I don't need a safe queen.

I love my Browning BAR 30-06 for that, thing can be gritty and sound terrible when you pull it back, but it fires everytime

I've got a large frame 357, I'd love to have a small frame snub nose.

However I'd also love a 44mag aswell.

The last 44 Mag I had, was a Super Redhawk
I got it for a great price from a buddy back home. Sold it for way more than I gave for it, to put tires and wheels on Ka'Bluey.
