looks good man...also looks fairly more involved than the one I just did. I am really glad I didn't have to remove the turbo or A/C! Glad you like the results. How's the truck running? Did you also get a chance to clean the valley up and get all of the gunk out of there?
I still havent really driven it due to other things i'm repairing at the same time but I am hoping to drive it today. I did clean up the valley quite a bit more and it sure seems like I found a few fissils being formed in there haha.
That is a good looking kit, but could be made sooooo much simpler. I don't like that the cross member on the bottom of the cab had to be cut to mount the filter/pump bracket either.
I thought the same, it is a kit that replaces everything from the selector valve forward but man that made this kit twice as much work, if I had to do it again I might have gone with something simplier being that half the time I worked on this I was cussing under my breath .
The bracket would have fit perfect if it was designed to mount those filters 1" or so lower but I made it work. The bed bushingas are original so it seems to be a possibility that it could be a reason.
I also noticed you used the top fuel line with the filters. Am I seeing that right? We all seemed to think the bottom fuel line on the frame rail is the supply line and the top is the return. Did the instructions say anything on the install?

That line your seeing actually goes all the way to the Y connection so not using the stock lines for supply. I am using the stock line for return, that connection is made at the beginning of the hardline which can be seen in the driver front fender.
Final under the hood pick, I am still re-working my IC setup because I now have the early 99 spyder, prior setup was a cut and weld version of the OBS spyder.
The kit should have come with some black tubing to run off that nipple on the regulator. I ran mine down along the old bowl drain line. As I understood it that is there incase the regulator malfunctions and fuel vents out that fitting. Best to have it not spray under the hood. Probably an unlikely occurrence but better safe that sorry.

Yor right it did come with a hose and it's installed now, I did the same routing you did as well. I'm dealing with 2 leaks in the filter housing and I think thats it, its minor. Did yours leak at all after running it for the first time?
Same for me. I had three leaks and they were all connections I had not tightened down enough. Since then, I have not seen one drop of fuel in the valley or anywhere else. After a year of constantly fixing leaks, I am stoked!

That is what Im most excited about, its actually the primary reason why I upgraded, now if I can actually get the darn water outlet to seal Ill be able to drive it for the first time since the mod
