Replacement of Cruise Control/Audio Switches

Replacement of Cruise Control/Audio Switches
Hey guys, I need some help. I am looking to replace the audio-AC/Cruise switches on my 04 Excursion. I am having a hard time trying to determine if I need to remove the steering wheel. I have found posts for other Ford vehicles, but not the excursion or F250 with the larger switches. Any help with where to look or a write up would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Nope. I just had my CC switches replaced 2 weeks ago. Air bag comes out then the switches. I will not give the procedure for safely removing the air bag since I didn't do it. Follow the proper procedures so you don't die.
I bought factory Motorcraft switches from Amazon for about 80 bucks + tax. I tried to give the business the the stealership but they wanted $171.29 + tax.
Just in case you don't know what an air bag can do to you...

That shows how to get the steering wheel off, but not get the switches out. I'm not sure if they just pop out or what..that's what I am confused about. I know on the cruise control only type of switch they come out after the airbag comes off, but these are set into the wheel itself. The new switches have a plug on the back of them for the wiring.
Thanks again!
