2006 Ford Explorer Issues

2006 Ford Explorer Issues
So, initially I had problems with my transmission on my 2006 explorer. I took it to AAMCO and had my transmission rebuilt. Soon after that I had to have my wheel bearings replaced by them. After they did that my airbag sensor, my abs sensor, and my traction control light kept coming on. No problems, just the lights on. I took it back and they said they can't see what was going wrong, which was an obvious lie and didn't happen until they touched the car. Anyways, among that it has gotten where when I try to go from park to reverse or drive, it sticks even with the brake fully pressed and won't get out of park. So could you guys help me with these issues before I pay a fortune to get everything repaired? Thanks!

It's somewhat common for the brake pedal switch to fail on these. There's even a redesigned switch, and if you order the part by application you get the redesigned switch. The downside is the redesigned switch also requires the installation of a different connector (comes with the switch). Confirm whether or not the brake lights are working properly. If not, you can almost be guaranteed the issue is the brake pedal (aka stoplight) switch.
As for the ABS/Airbag/Traction control light and their lack of knowledge of it being an "obvious lie", how can you be so confident? It's completely possible that it's just a coincidence that the issue causing those lights cropped at the same time. Unless you have proof that something they did caused the issue, you should not jump to such a conclusion.

The brake lights are working properly. So what could it be? The odds that all three came on at the same time after receiving it from them in areas they just worked. And even though the lights stay on continuously now, they said they did not have any codes or see any lights on, which like I said is a lie.

They may not have a scan tool capable of reading the ABS or traction control systems, that takes a high end scan tool with specific software.
So what areas did they work on besides the transmission? The ABS and traction control is not tied in to the transmission, so if they worked on other areas beside the transmission, that information would be helpful.
Ultimately, if the ABS and Traction Control lights are on, there are diagnostic codes. You might need to find some place that has the appropriate tools to access those codes. Keep your receipt. Then if the diagnostic codes point to something and you're able to prove the issue is a result of the work AAMCO did, demand they reimburse you for the diagnostic reading as well.
