351 m cranks over but no start

I got a 351m in a 79 ford bronco that rolls over but it wont start. Its got spark and the timing is good with a new carb and good fuel. It just confuses me figuring out what its not making it start

What happens if you spray fuel down the carb?

Is the carb even getting fuel?

If you have fuel and you have fire and it is not starting it has to be timing.Even with todays electronics it still stays the same. Fuel fire air and all arriving at the correct time. Forgot to add compression.
