I'd love to have it. Just my style. But think they are asking just a BIT much for it.

What did they cost new? My '96 F350 SC dually was about $26K sticker.

$24K! It's got no miles on it but all the rubber and gaskets and all those other parts are 18yrs old so it's not a new truck anymore. $24K would buy you a brand new current model that would tow that thing around backwords and get WAYYY better gas milage.. not to mention ride better and tow and carry more, but there is often somebody out there with more money than common sense that will pay the asking price. Nice truck but no.. not that nice.

It's hilarious that some people think very low miles is like finding a solid gold truck/car.

The worst thing for a vehicle us to let it sit for long periods.

It's a form of abuse if you ask me!

That's pretty funny. Dude must be high. "It is a one of a kind, very hard to find Ford F150 XLT 2 wheel drive with Michelin tires like new."

16k miles and 18 years old isn't like new, plenty of trucks have been trashed in that time

Just tried to find the listing. There was a guy around Virginia here that had a 1995 std cab Flareside with something like 3000 miles on it trying to get 45,000. WOW

I'm not disputing this, but you haven't been truck shopping lately.

I was just on the Ford lot a few weeks ago and a 2012 F-150 had a sticker of $36K!

A new truck is in the $50K and up range anymore. ....at least around here they are. Unless you're good with a stripped down V6 model. Then you could pick one up a year or two old for $24K.

....either way, this guy is smoking crack.

The shot under the hood tells me he never cleaned anything. Jeez, my '89 has 150K miles and is cleaner then that and been living in Ohio winters for 5 yrs now.

I tried looking for original retail price on those trucks, I'm guessing he is trying to get it ALL back?

KBB says $3900, but I'd guess I would go $5-6K easy if it was really that nice. It really is the truck I really want, to a TEE. If it was kept out of the sun the rubber and such should be "ok".

I just can't find a truck that nice anywhere anymore. I don't want someone else rust bucket.

Conaski.........I'd be real curious to see about mileage. My '95/302/auto would get 17 around town easy. 19-20 on the highway if you stayed around 65 mph. My buddy just traded in his '02 superduty for a '10 F150 with 5.4/3.73s. I'm going to see what kind of mileage he gets. I don't think new trucks get any better mileage then years back overall. Granted, built the right way it could, but the generally built F150 still sucks for gas mileage. there again, for $30K it should get better.

LOL, that guy is nuts. I have the original bill of sale for my truck from 1997. It's an F-250HD XLT, with 4x4 and a 460. It was around $28,000 BRAND NEW.

How can he seriously expect to get anywhere near that for it?

Seems kinda odd that an XLT truck would not have a tach. Something seem fishy

Yeah that's what I was thinking, a base model 2wd reg cab with a V6 is what you compare it to since that is what it's closest to these days.

My '89 XLT has no tach. I think it was an option and maybe he didn't check that box??

He's trying again. $15k(starting bid) or $24K buy it now. But "it needs to sell"?
