"And get this...
I met a guy that knows a guy that is head of a dealer department at Dick's Auto Group which owns...
yup...
Dick's Ford where I bought my truck.

Hmmm..."

We'll get it worked out

The shop name is "Stereo King" and it may sound cheezy - it's just the name.
They do some very fine work.

I've driven the truck a few times and it seems to be OK. I'm going to have the stereo hooked up soon.

The dealer said that they are not seeing this problem on other trucks.
Why not just be honest and say that there is a known problem?
Why would the tow truck driver lie to me? And you?

The dealer's job is to be deceitful. That's literally what they do all day long.

I totally agree. The car business's reputation is a well-earned one that they seem to have no intention of changing.
