I've seen in semis some yellow plastic retainers that go on the seat belt and hold the shoulder strap lower so it doesn't chafe on your neck. I want some of those for my pickup. Anyone know where to get them?

 

Most cars & trucks today have an adjustable upper belt mounting point--does yours?

If you check with most any truck stop whatever you see a driving using it probably came from one of those! Love's, Flying J, Pilot, Travel America etc etc

i use these to keep the belt a little loose so it does not dig into my neck:

 

My truck is 1994, and the mounting point is not adjustable.

I already looked at a big Loves truck stop, but no luck.

 

My wife uses one of those large paper clip type things...mybe calling it a binder clip would be more acurate.

I have the same problem in my F250 and in my Wife's Rav4 so I got this and it works well.

 

The problem with the OEM seat belt limiters is that they are threaded on the belt and then the finish stitching is done, they don't just slid on or off. I have put them on and then had the seat belt restitched by a custom safety harness builder.

 

My last truck had some really nice ones that I took out of an International 4700 truck. They attached with the upper shoulder belt bolt and had a sort of lever that flipped up or down. Unfortunately, I can't find a picture to post.

They worked great on that truck, but my F-250 has the seat belt coming out of the seat, so they wouldn't work.
