93 F350 Clutch Linkage
I have a 1993 F350 IDI Diesel with a 5 speed stick in it. A couple of days ago the bushing on the clutch linkage broke on me. I went ahead and put a new bushing in it but I've destroyed 3 bushings in the last three days. The bushing is the one above the accelerator pedal. The metal piece that runs through the plate running down from the crossover piece and goes through the bushing and actuator arm for the clutch is worn out on the back side but the hole in the arm is in excellent condition. What am I missing here? Is the metal piece removable or do I have to find another bracket? Can I punch it out and replace it with a bolt? Is there another piece that I'm missing an e-clip or something to hold the arm in place?

dont buy any more bushings ... the backside of that ball that the bushing sits on is too far gone and needs to be dealt with (no, it doesn't sound like you are missing any pieces). you can take that actuator arm off and replace/repair it ( probably easier to do after removing the entire bracket from the truck); there is also a "heim joint" repair that you can search ...looks like a good permanent repair to me. you could try your luck finding an entire bracket at the junkyard but these are a popular item when they are in good shape. as for using a bolt in there, it would work, but then you would have metal-to-metal and before long, the resulting slop would cause the problem to re-appear.
