P0267 and low FMP means I need Ed, right?

Engine light popped on today while driving home. SGII shows P0267, which is injector circuit 3 low... Checked FMP, FLP, and FVP next to my VLT and all voltages running between 13.5 and 14 at idle. FMP dropped to 44.5 at its lowest at idle, but seemed to hover around 45.5.

Engine ran strong with no roughness the whole time.

Sounds like I need Ed right?

Not necessarily, and I don't want to put Ed out of work, but I don't consider 44.5 on a SGII to be necessarily low because it's normally a bit low through the OBDII port anyway. You may want to have the codes read by a better code reader. Low injector circuit isn't necessarily a bad FICM.

Hmm... I've been monitoring FMP off and on for a couple years now and I've never seen it drop below 47 before today...

If not FICM, what other things could cause P0267?

I have a SG II, and my FICM voltage sits between 48-49. If mine got to 44.5, I'd be calling Ed....

It's Monday...sometimes Tim gets confused on Mondays!

X2 - I'd be calling ED too.

For the record: I'm not confused.

It does show lower on OBD. But that is still low enough to send it out.

I imagine you are also replacing an injector too.

Good to know to be prepared for the injector, though I sure hope not... Money is scarce right now... I've been wanting the Atlas 40 anyway, so I guess I will start with the FICM and go from there.

Well, I'm confused then. At what voltage ....via the OBD does an FICM need serviced? It's not going to fix itself or get better with time, right?

It's pretty minimal. Maybe one volt, same with the alternator voltage too. But even less .5 volt.

Well I'm seeing numbers way outside that tolerance... Under load its dropping to 35, at idle sits at 48, and when first started before vlt came up it was down to 23.5 at its lowest point.

I'm going to be minimizing my driving, and then doing Eds exchange program after I get paid Thursday.

This is a different story than just .5V at the OBDII port. Have fun with the Atlas 40.
