summit exhaust with dual tanks?

the summit website says that their exhaust system won't work with the spare in place or with an auxiliary tank. i have no problem taking the spare off but will it still work even though i have two tanks? the website does say it will fit my truck (1990 ext. cab long box RWD automatic) but not being able to work with an auxiliary tank makes me nervous. i guess I'm more hopeful that it will work than actually thinking it will. thanks for the help y'all.

I assume you are refering to the Summit cat back systems that have a single in/dual out muffler. I put two of those systems on OBS Fords with twin tanks and had no issues. I didn't have a spare under either, but I bet that it would interfer with the tail pipes.
