Good Morning Trav & Everyone.
Well after a nights sleep we decided to fire the wood people. The communication is so bad with them that I have 3 phone numbers, the other two were full mail boxes & only could reach the daughter & had to fire them via a message.
Thank God that headache is done. Now just need to find a helper & I will finish when things cool down.

Good Afternoon Arizona.
Well I contacted my helper from last year. He can work weekends. He has a buddy he says is a good worker, so tomorrow they are suppose to work for us. So if this friend is half as good as my old helper they will wipe out the rest of the tree project pretty fast.
So we will see tomorrow how it goes.
Drove down to Chino Valley checking out the flea markets. Found an antique Coleman two burner stove. It is in all original condition not repainted, just some scratches & normal wear. It has a completely round gas cylinder. Not sure of year but plan to research it.

Glad things are working out Craig! I spent the morning pulling a rear bumper from 2000 buick in the pick-n-pull yard 70 bucks out the door... so far i picked a tail light and the small plastic piece that goes under it, so far parts cost is under 105 bucks, i still need a can of touch up paint for the bumper i bought. hope to keep cost way down on this, it's a nice car but i cant see spending thousands fixing a car we bought for 3500 bucks.

Good morning AZ,

Been really busy with training for nationals, and life in general.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Craig, I hate dealing with contractors like that.

Been using any spare time to work on the bed till I can get the steel for the frame.

I am looking for a 67 drivers door. I have some rust in mine, and depending on price, I would rather replace than have it welded/fixed.

Anyone have a door leaning up against the garage?

i will keep an eye out for you.... 67 is a one year only door, no pull **** by the window to lock or unlock. those 2 functions work off the inner door handle like the 66 trucks.

Why is the part I need the single year part??? Murphy and his law... I have seen 68-72 doors frequently... but alas. I ain't got one of those!

My drivers door has a pull ****, passenger doesn't.

Good Afternoon Everyone.
Well this weekend sure didn't work out as I hoped. My old helper called me this AM & couldn't make it. So we came home.
But the good this weekend out weighted the bad.

As I said did some Flea market stuff, I found out my Coleman Stove was built between 1948-53. There are two on Ebay not in near as good condition as the one I bought going for $117 & $75 plus high shipping, like one was $17 & the other $35.

My brother & his wife called on their way back to Las Vegas & we got together for lunch.

An a older couple called on our ad for work & next weekend I'm going to try them out.
We got our trailer to Seligman's KOA. We have a nice swimming pool, free WiFi, so that is nice. We found out I didn't damage the trailer A/C as I thought I might of done.
Then the last two days up in Ash Fork were just beautiful, weather wise.

Ray, your project looks good. Yea the new customer service is, "I'm TOO busy to call you with changes I'm making after we already had an agreement." Even better I had to leave a message to fire the slugs. I guess they were TOO busy to answer the phone.

We both hated coming back to 110 degrees with about 40% humidity, no rain. I can't walk from the car to the house 15 ft without sweating a pint of liquid out. I talked to an old timer here that has been here for 30+ years. He told me he can't remember the last time the humidity was like this with little to no rain.
