Sort of looked like it was coming from higher up the engine and running down the back side, like real bad valve cover gaskets or something. At any rate, best get it fixed as you are!

I have struggled with rubber valve cover gaskets that are suppose to be so great, you can't beat cork and permatex for my old sckool money. Rubber and heat do not mix well.
