Boing, boing, boing....???

With my ignition key out and the door open my truck keeps going, boing, boing, boing. Any ideas?

Somehow the warning chime thinks they are. Probably just unplug it.

My key lock cylinder is worn and the truck will buzz at me if it's not left in a particular position after I remove the key and open the door. I'm guessing it thinks it's still either in an on position or in accessory mode. Maybe the same thing is happening to you?

It did on my 90. Jabbed a screwdriver thru the buzzer. No more boing. About 6 months later the cylinder broke so if I should have replaced it then but oh well..............

In the fuze box to the left of the steering wheel I think.

You might try graphite powder shot into the key cylinder and operate the cylinder a few times to spread the graphite. Might lube it enough to fix the switch that thinks your key is still in the ignition.
