Not necessarily...the 5.4 is problematic in that truck...best to get a 6.2 if the budget allows. The 5.4 is no where enough motor for a S/D.

Yeah I have been in that position a few times..

I have missed out on a few opportunities due to lack of funds..

the 6.2 was not offered at that time....just saying.

You don't say!!! The 5.4 keeps service departments profitable with all the issues...manifold gaskets are not cheap!!! Just making a point that the 6.2 is a much better choice...if it fits the budget.

Just looked out my window and my truck is in the parking lot that they put vehicles after they have worked on them.

Got the tank for my 86 F250. New tank for $25 figured that's OK.

Neil, you should buy my 86 F250 Super Cab. Loooow miles, about 6230 on it.

I was going to retire it at 200,000 but, it just keeps going.
The gas tank is going into the 86 plow truck..................if I get to it.
