OK so my 2006 fx4 started doing the no start issue last yr in the heat of summer sometimes would start sometimes left me stranded..it was fine all winter an here we are in summer an once the truck is hot it will not want to start once ran then shut off. I have went through all the grounds an wires for shorts an found nothing. When I go to restart the light on dash blinks rapidly indicate the security stock system. No after hrs an headaches of tracking all this down I've only concluded that cooling down the pcm under the hood will start the vehicle...trust me it sounds seriosouly stupid but the only way it will start is pouring water onto the pcm because it gets so hot it'll almost burn you fingers..I do not understand why this works or how the pcm gets so hot...any info or leads on things to check would be much appreciated...I do not want to spend $$$$$ at ford to diagnose an tell me me bs.
