The part itself is prob $2000. Nothing they can do about the price of parts. OEM converters are ridiculously expensive.

Is there a possibility it may be covered under the mandatory extended emissions warranty?

I had all 4 of mine on an '04 5.4 F150 replaced in Phoenix Az 50 state legal for $1400.00 including all labor including warranty coverage Doing fine 2 years later,...
