Possible Elder Abuse- Possible intent to unlawfully dispose of assets without legal authority/Inters

Contact Information: Michael A. Brooks, Paul Alvich Trust Executor
Phone (310-397-7136):
E-mail: Mabrooks1003@gmail.com

Summary of events:
The estate of Paul Alvich has been divested of most all cash and assets to persons (many unknown & untraceable) outside of the immediate family. Due to welfare concerns, Power of Attorney for the Paul Alvich trust and medical care was transferred to family members who also serve as executors. The one remaining asset of potential value is a 1932 Ford Coupe, estimated at $150k.
During collection and review of all asset documentation, it was noted the California Vehicle Registration for the 1932 Ford Coupe had been modified with the addition of the name Kris Castillo (no relation to the Alvich Family).
On the morning of Thursday, May 8, 2014, Mr. Castillo of Kc Hot Rod Repair,
San Antonio, Texas, arrived in Redlands, California (purportedly driven from Texas) with a vehicle transport trailer, checked Paul Alvich out of the assisted living care facility, drove to Lake Arrowhead, California, and utilizing forced entry, entered the residence. Visual evidence of an “aggressive search” within the house occurred which is assumed to be for obtaining the “pink slip” (vehicle title).
It is reported, Mr. Castillo pushed locked and secured vehicles positioned directly in front of the garage door (to preclude unauthorized removal of assets) out of the way, opened the garage door, loaded the Coupe onto the trailer and departed. Paul Alvich was returned to the assisted care center and then Castillo purportedly left for Texas, leaving the residence and garage unsecured.
During the initiation of the “Forced Entry”, neighbors witnessing the activities notified the executor of the Paul Alvich Trust, law enforcement officers responded, however no law was broken since 1) Permission to damage the property (forced entry) was granted by Paul Alvich, it is not a crime to destroy your own property and 2) Chris Castillo is listed as a part owner of the Coupe, negating felony grand theft auto charges. However, since the vehicle was listed as an asset of the Paul Alvich Trust, of which Mr. Castillo is not represented within, removal of this asset without permission of the trust executor presents recovery as a result of potential civil fraud and potential violation of California Elder Abuse Laws.
In summary, the vehicle’s relocation has not been approved by the legal authority for Paul Alvich Trust and cannot be sold without the express written consent of the trust executor.

Wow, what a tale. Forty coats.

A quick google reveals an address for said Hot Rod Shop. Looks like it is the City of San Antonio.

We are just a small town in South Texas but we do have a police department.

You are right...its actually an apartment house/condo & there is no business license on file with the city.

Aside from him retaining an attorney and threatening to sue the family trust and wanting to be paid for "repairs" he reportedly completed on the vehicle prior to it's taking.... that was done with a car trailer owned by his brother, a Fire Fighter with the San Bernardino County Fire Agency/Lake Arrowhead Fire Protection District....No update. note, during the removal of the vehicle from the garage, witnesses observed the off-duty firefighter there and seen "running away" upon arrival of law enforcement.
