Very nice looking truck, the sign art really looks great!
I have long been interested in airbrush/pinstriping/signpainting but have never spent the time to get proficient at any of them. But like others, I still like to watch others who have mastered the art. Here is a link to a signpainters website where you can watch a documentary on the subject Sign Painters: The Movie

Not a shop connection - But here's what the door of my donor cab originally said:
Department of the Interior
Bureau of Reclamation
U.S. Government
For Official Use Only
The cab came from Desert Springs, California and I had it hitch a ride on a pallet in a furniture truck that was traveling to the east coast. It took a couple of weeks to get brought to Maine.
I thought about salvaging the door lettering, but it was too far gone to be readable from any distance. The other door was really tough to see all the letters.
Yep it's a former gov't vehicle. Now when I'm in the truck I feel like goofing off and watching other guys do all the work while I park in the shade wearing a hard hat and resting a clipboard on my knee with a new Playboy issue featuring Marilyn Monroe.

Truck art work is always nice. Friend here in NY has a wood milling business, had the info painted on the doors of a 72 F300 he restored. !@#$%^ NY State inspectors made him get a Fed DOT number be cause he was "advertising his business." The truck wouldn't pass vehicle inspection until the DOT numbers were on the truck. Now he has to go through DOT and NY inspections.
