F100 Kingpin replacement in Houston?

Anyone know of a shop in our around Houston Tx, that can swap out the kingpins? I have pulled the front suspension off a 76 F100 to put on my 66 F100, but would like to change out the kingpins first.

I've called around to a few shops, but havent found someone that can ream the bushings. They all say they can press them out and the new ones in, but reaming the bushings seems to be the hard part..

I had mine done at Charlie's Trash Machine and Welding in San Antonio by an very old man in coveralls. He had to make a tool to press them and then lapped (sanded) them for an hour until they fit. Look for an old establish machine shop or speed shop. Most places look at you with a blank stare.

You might find the reamer on Ebay which would solve the issue.

Anyone know what size the reamer is for a 76 F100? I've looked around and there are several different sizes.

Call James Newman at James Newman Automotive up in Conroe.

I don't know if he'll be able to do it, but he's an old school mechanic with an absolutely terrifying looking yard surrounding his shop (partially parted out cars and other misc junk literally EVERYWHERE). He's slow as Christmas and has the personality of a goat, but he's one of those mechanics who knows his stuff inside and out, and there's old stuff parked all in an amongst his hulks.

He'll tell you straight up whether he can or not.

honing the bushings is easy here is what I used a simple cheap hone 15 -20 bucks at any auto parts store . stick it in a drill and 15-20 min or so per side and done easy peasy , the pins are a little bigger than 3/4 . the hard part will be getting the old stuff out!
