It seems like a couple times a week new threads pop up regarding mpg's, fuel economy, and efficiency. There are so many threads on the topic that sifting through them in the search leaves a newbie more confused than when he/she started down the economy road.

Most of us here know the value, and how to navigate the tech links, but to a new user it can seem like endless pages of links to stuff they dont really grasp yet. A stand alone stickied discussion might cut way down on the persistent mpg chasing traffic that haphazardly clutters the forum.

In no way am i denegrating those who seek to improve their knowledge of how to attain better efficiency... i just think there is a better way to serve those users.

Let this thread be an information depot for any thoughts pertaining to fuel efficiency.
