I am looking to replace my toolbox and want to go hard tri-fold cover. Any feedback on Bakflip best price or other opinions? Want it to be a good tight leak proof fit. I have an electric tailgate lock tapped to my rear door so locking stuff in there will be nice.

 

Forgot to mention, it's a 07 6.0 250 CC shortbed.

 

I have the VP and like it. But water still gets in from front side next to cab. They use double sided thick tape and it won't hold water out.
What I did is buy from Lowes is that 4'x4' rubber mat with holes for standing on. Put 2 in bed and nothing ever gets wet because it's an inch up.
I'm pleased with this set up because I have to big *** car seats in crew cab so have no room.
Some notes though. The arms to hold up when oped all the way have crappy plastic clips they cam broke already. I just took off arms because I never have all the way open. If I do need it I just take off backflip. Fast and easy to do. And if you flip it open at all and drive it always slams back and closes. O we'll...
Al in all I like the set up. I can lock stuff in bed and it all stays dry. I would think most all brands have same issues. But like said easy to take off when not needed but not lite to move around but can do by self.
