Transmission leaking! Help

I changed my transmission oil and It has started leaking from the top of the transmission it seems. I have checked the fluid level several times and keep it halfway in the hot level with temp about 150. I pulled my dipstick out and ran around the block and a lot of fluid was blown out the dipstick hole. Do these trannys run under pressure? The vent hole on top seems open. What would cause it to suddenly start blowing fluid?

Thanks for the help Randy

All automatics run under pressure. That's how they work.

When you check the fluid level is the engine idling and the trans in park?

I would say you over filled it just a little.
