Hard at work on my 78 f150



me bottom right and little Chris up top welding caps on the headache rack.

Trying to get the truck on road soon.

I'm thinking about bring the top of the headache rack down flush with the top of the cab, any opinions/ suggestions welcome

It's just personal preference. I myself like it better flush with cab.

ya dont want the headache rack to high above the cab. it get in the way. run in to thing with it to.

Like the flat bed. I agree cut it down. I would prob keep ie just barely above cab. maybe a inch.

I like the idea of cutting it down too. It's nice to have it an inch or two above the cab though so you've got a little bit extra room in case you have anything crazy to move or in the back.
