Ilya, I agree, if they are as nice as they look in the pictures they are a steal. No way you could get a set of fenders fixed up in that condition for that price.

Maybe you could hide it out behind the barn and say it's about time you did something with that old wreck, just paint some patina on it with some water colour paint, lol

Nice truck. Yes, I think it is a dump bed. Those two red ***** on the dash are to engage the PTO and the other is to lift the bed up or down.

It could have been a fire truck since it has a red interior and a spotlight, but I doubt firetrucks had a hoist unless that was added after it fire fighting days were over.

The big problem isn't getting permission to get it, if I wanted it I'd just buy it. The problem I have right now is lack of funds. It's not the wife I have to contend with, it's the bank.

I'd have to tear down a lot of barns to pay for that.

I guess the truck wouldn't be fast enough for a get away either. Hopefully it will sit around and wait for you .

I agree as was said that it's prolly an ex fire truck with the red interior and
fire wall and low miles. So I would say if nothing is broke and the engine
will turn freely than it may not take to much to get it running. She looks
clean and complete.

I have a feeling this might be a typo. If not it's not going to last long.

$1,500 Ford F800, 1948 10,663 original miles. Not running. Flat head 8 Model Number 88EQ-21937
If it is a typo then he made it in two places.
