A/C clutch/bearing
1987 F150 5Lt., A/C, PS
Need to replace the A/C clutch/bearing, looking for any help/advice to replace it?

Pretty easy actually. Remove belt, remove nut in the center of the outer clutch plate, outer clutch plate will come off. You may need to pry it a little. After that, remove snap ring, and pulley/clutch comes off.

Not a hard job. You will need a press to remove/install the bearing in the pulley. I found the bearing on ebay

Any idea what the air gap should be?

.021-.036 inches. It's set by shims.
