Paint is really bad but the body only has a few minor dents in it.

It will likely be at least a few days before I can really do anything with it, but at least it's here and not in danger of being crushed anymore. I've got to decide now whether to do this one or the '74 I intend to make a new work rig out of next.

 

Congrats on the new truck, it looks pretty dang good. When I think of how free of rust and straight that thing appears to be, I think you have the makings of a great (S)CS!

Can't tell if that is black paint on top of the original baby blue, or if the blue paint has come off on those places revealing black.

I would think you should pull that tank and send it to a shop to be properly welded up, but someone else may have a better idea.

I want to see more pictures of the inside, the engine compartment, etc. What equipment does it have?

Glad you were, at long last, able to get this worthy truck.
