The first number is the distance from bead to bead. The second number is the percentage of the first number that is sidewall. The last number is the rim size in inches. I believe this is how it works.
I use the 2" narrower rule of thumb, a 10" wide rim can hold up to a 12.50 wide tire.
So yes that 10.50 wide tire and a 10" wide rim should be ok. But you will barely have any side wall curve at all. It would mount up better on a 8.5 or 9.5 rim I believe.

Thanks buddy, i have brand new wheels already and with unexpected cost of other things im looking for used tires. I hate buying used tires.
