The original A/T shift collar had the pointer made as part of it. In 1973, Ford replaced the original collar with another. This collar has a separate plastic pointer that slips into a slot on the collar.

The pointer was available by itself, it also comes with the collar. The pointer itself is now obsolete, the collar is still available from Ford.

There is no C5 or any other number marked on the shift collar. The upper flange has an ID engineering number cast on it.
