We are camping while some of you are still getting snow!

Another great weekend here in the south, but I here it is not the same with all you guys up in the middle there. This has been a weird year for weather hasn't it? Well, we just spent the last 5 days at one of our favorite parks, Fort Yargo State Park. Had one day of rain, but great temps and lots of fun with the kids. All total was 3 campers(all pulled by Fords), 14 people and 6 kayaks. The 6.7 didn't even have to breathe hard on this trip as it only 7 miles from home. But, it's not home!!!! Here are a couple of pics of the weekend.

And of course my two dogs had to get in the pics too. They are always around when the food starts to come out. As you can tell, I have their undivided attention!

I see you're not OCD like me, I have to have my water line all coiled up and straight, or, I extend it fully in straight lines under the camper.

Nice pics, I like that place too! Used to fish there when I was a student at UGA some weekends. Had a buddy in winder there.

She's not fat, she's just BIG BONED!! Actually they are sisters and she(Ginger) only weighs about 8 pounds more than Georgia. But she looks really huge in this pic!

I did my student teaching at Russell middle school. During my student teaching term the band director passed away and they just let me take the reigns to finish the school year. Was pretty close to mr. Alison hays, the high school band director at the time.

How do you get the kayaks to the campground? Where do you store your blue waste water tank during travel? I have not had the need to dump prior to leaving, we usually get full hookups for extended stays but someday I am sure that I will get caught with a full tank. lol

So far the kayaks go on top of wife's Odyssey. I am in search of a front receiver to be able use a goal post carrier in front. The blue tank goes in bed of truck near tailgate and doesn't move. To be sure on long trips I put about 3 gallons of water in it.
