2000 F250 5.4L Power steering pump flush

Does anyone have a link on how to do a flush on the 5.4L power steering pump? I screwed up on installing my new power steering pump and used power steering fluid (new to ford) and it is moaning so I need to flush and get mercon ATF put back in the lines. The write up I found was for the diesel hydroboost and I do not have that setup.

take the return line from the pump that goes back to the holding tank, install a plastic hose nipple and a clear hose long enough to reach a bucket. Get someone to help and have them turn the wheel back and forth lock to lock slowly as you had the correct fluid. Since you added the wrong fluid id add double whats needed to make sure you can get all that wrong stuff out

Thanks for the response, I went and found the hose, any idea on what size hose barb that would take? Guessing I could go down to 3/8" clear plastic line.

Ended up inserting clear hose into the return line and using a clamp, worked good. Went through 5 quarts of autozone Mercon V "just in case". Shouldn't be a drop of power steering fluid left.
