Slide in or out

When your campers are at home or if set up on seasonal lot, do you leave slides in or out? Does either way negatively affect the seals?

I leave mine in...but only because of a fence. To load and unload it I pull it out about 5 feet so I can open the main slide.

I can open the bedroom side anytime, but I still leave it closed as I believe that it is sealed better that way and also less places for leaves and crap to collect.

Slides seal best when in and the seals take less weather when in.

I have a seasonal site. When I know I am not going to be back for a couple weeks, I run the slides in.

At home, they stay in unless we are in there working on something or cleaning.

The slides were not designed to be left out all the time. There's not much of a roof on them.

Mine stay in unless I am at a site and come and go.

At home they stay in even though I have room to have them all out.

I suspect if it is parked in a heated shop, you are just fine!
