Frozen U joint ok to drive with?

Like the title says my truck has a frozen U joint I cannot turn it by hand when the hubs are unlocked. It is OK to drive on the highway with it like this for about 2 hours with the hubs unlocked?

On the axle shaft I take it?

Only thing I would think about driving it that way is that the u-joint still has to articulate as the wheel is turned side to side as you steer.

Yea I jacked up the wheel and locked the hub, the u joint will turn with the wheel but the wheel is much more difficult to turn. I'm guessing that it will be OK i just thought id ask. I mean if the U joint breaks i don't care since i will be replacing it. I just don't want it to heat up from the friction and start smoking or anything.

Be careful and stop for checks every few miles. I should not rotate while unlocked.
