Paint Break Striping

Anyone know where to get the paint breaks striping used on the two tone trucks from 92-97? Or do I need to get them custom made at a vinyl shop?

They can be had from an automotive paint shop. I think 3M markets them.

Ford stopped making them about 10 years ago. IF you find a set of NOS ones, I would be very suspicious of the old adhesive.

3M does NOT make an OEM looking stripe.

I ended up going to my local vinyl sign guy and had him cut some standard vinyl. He cut me all the stripes for the background color(mine was white in 7/8 and 3/4) He then cut me the stripes(mine was silver). When he cut them he spaced them accordingly. I laid down the bas stripe(white) then laid down the stripes(silver) over top. It turned out great. Body guys ask me all the time where I got the stripes. They don't believe me when I tell them they are 2 layer vinyl till they rub their finger over them

The Top stripe is a 7/8" back ground
then the layout of the stripes goes as such

1/16 of background
1/4" stripe
1/8" background
1/8" stripe
1/4" background
1/16" stripe
1/16" back ground

Bottom stripe is a 3/4" back ground
then the layout of the stripes goes as such

3/16" background
1/8" stripe
1/8" background
3/16 stripe
3/16" background

Striping Tapes - Decorative, Reflective and Protective - Products

On 3M's website. Looks like they are only making 4 of the 3 color combos now.

OK, I just got off the phone with my paint guy and WHEW?!??!?! Yep the stripes are all but gone in our multi color (you can lay the 3 colors / widths side by side) but they are phasing out / changing all the PPG I've been using.. I can go to the next state and get it though. Anyway - I tried.
