1948 Schlitz Aluminum Beer Keg - for gas tank

10-48 Schlitz beer keg - 16ish gallons
In good shape - would make a cool rat rod / hot rod fuel tank.
Local - or central IL pick up - I could ship if I can find a box big enough - aluminum not all that heavy - 20 - 25 pounds

The last time I shipped something without a box - the post office made a point to crush it - It was a solid steel bull bar for the front of a truck.
I have no idea how they managed to bend it - they would have had to chuck it from a plane - but they did.
they took it as a challenge.

Shlitz Beer Keg (gas tank)
I am interested in your beer keg. Do you still have it for sale? I live in Northern California, so I would be interested to know the exact weight so I can see how much shipping will cost from your zip to mine [95965] unless you were willing to add the shipping to total asking price.
