not sure what to look at.

Hey all,
I had an odd thing happen today.
I was getting ready to leave my job site, I started my truck and it was fine but after running for a minute the CEL came on and it sounded like I lost two cylinders. I tried to let out the clutch and it wouldn't move, it just stalled out. I started it back up and it still ran like crap with CEL on. After a few minutes the CEL went off and it idled up to normal and I had full power again. I started driving and after a minute iit did it again. I pushed in the clutchand as soon as it got to idle it went back to normal again. It did this same thing 3 more times and then stayed normal after that. Im not sure where to start with diagnostics.
1996 psd 3" down pipe, straight pipe exhaust, cold air intake, 4x4, manual trans, 288,000 +miles.

Also it has been really low on power. I was thinking about changing the injector o rings. Not sure if it will help but it has never been done.
Looking forward to the help. Thanks in advance.

Start with getting the code(s) associated with the CEL.

Codes should be stored/pending. Did you get a P1111?

Like Mad said, you should at least have a P1111 which is 'no codes'. Your scanners are not reading the PCM.

Generic scanner does NOT communicate with the OBS PSD. You need a Snap-On MT2500 with the K-2A key, or AutoEnginuity software.
