wierd part needed
Here is another hard one. I need a spring clip for a bolt on the hand brake drum assembly. It holds the headless bolt 7EQ2616 and stops it from turning. Green Sales has the bolt which I already have but I can not find a part number for the clip and Green Sales said it does not come with the headless bolt. It screws into a TGAA2621A I am working on a C-800 hand brake 10 1/2 in drum. Any help would be great. Thanks

OK, I looked up your part numbers in the Parts Catalog. Looks like the headless bolt has a hole in it for safety wire, just like all the headed bolts on the other models. I don't know what clip you're looking for. It's not shown in the diagram, but neither is the safety wire in this drawing.
Here's a drawing of the another headless bolt with safety wire for your reference.

Big Job, the part numbers he gave are shown below .
7EQ 2616
48/ Parking Brake Band Anchor Clip Adjusting Bolt - THQ, Q, QH, #QH, QHS, QW, QHW, QSW, Z, ZW 5/16"-18 x 1 3/4" headless
TGAA 2621-A
53/56 Parking Brake Anchor Bar - QH, QHW (except T/A) (MS, QSW Q with tandem axle with tandem axle & auxiliary transmission with tandem axle 9 27/64" long
On a side note, I converted both my Text and Illustrations Catalogs to searchable PDFs. Makes looking for numbers much faster.

I downloaded a free app to remove the restrictions on the files. A-PDF Restrictions Remover. http://www.a-pdf.com/security/restrictions_remover.htm
Then I used an app I have for work, eCopy PDF PRO Office to convert the files to a searchable format.
The conversions weren't perfect, but I'd say I can find 90% or better by searching for the number.

I am sorry, the bolt passes through the bracket on the brake shoe and screws into the bar. The small holes that the clip fits into are in the bracket on the brake shoe. There are three hole in the bracket for the brake shoe, center hole for the bolt to pass and two smaller holes for the ends of the clip to fit into.

Looks something like this, except I have the spring on the outside instead of the inside of the bracket.
Can you post a pic of your headless bolt?

OK. Safety wire through a deep slot would accomplish the same end. It's just there to keep the bolt from turning once you have the adjustment gap set. The slot is probably for turning it with a screwdriver?
