What did you get rid of for your Truck

What did you get rid of to get your Ford Truck? Did you own a Ford truck before this or some other brand?

I had owned Fords in the past but I had a Chevy before my current Ford truck.

That's interesting CB 13. Do you want to share few words briefly comparing them together?

In my experience with multiple GM and Ford trucks, the one constant has been the better interior quality of the Ford's. I have been through the GM intake gasket and Ford cam phaser issues. Neither brand is perfect, no matter what the die hard GM guys will tell you.

I traded a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge for my 2011 F-150 FX4 5.0L.

My 2011 is the first brand new vehicle I've ever owned. Before my 2003 Ranger I drove a 1990 F-150 XLT Lariat. That was my first ever, had many good years in my Ford's that's all I've ever owned and probably all I ever will.

Current truck was replacement for 2003 Super Duty crew cab 4X4 diesel that I loaned my son for a couple of years. Still needing a truck myself, I bought F-150 to tide me over until Ford came out with a F-150 diesel. That never happened, so now I'm looking for something I really have to own. I'm still waiting…maybe 2016 F-150 with newer transmission, re-designed Super Duty, or ?
