I traded in my 2013 XLT Off Road with a 3.5L Eco-Boost. 45,500 miles, no problems. Before the 2013 I had a 2005 FX4 Flairside, 5.4L 3V. 96,000 miles, no problems other than a fuel pump module that crapped out around 70,000 miles. Before that a 2003 Ranger 4x4. I could go on and on. My first Ford truck was a brand new 1979 4x4 with a 400 V8. Wish I still had that truck, it could climb right up a wall.

 

My 81's have the same feeling - could go anywhere. Was amazed years ago when I had my then ML320 out in 11" of snow. It went well, with the fancy electronics catching any wheel that wanted to spin and correcting it. Then I drove Dad's truck - and it didn't even try to spin a wheel. Just went wherever I pointed it.

Having said that, the stock 351M left a lot to be desired. But I think this 400 is gonna fix that.

 

Sold my 2005 Explorer Limited V8 4x4 the day before my new F150 was delivered. Bought the previous Explorer used with 20K miles for $19.5K when it was ~1 year old Solid it with 153K miles for $5K. Felt pretty lucky to do so. Had in Auto Trader for 1 week and the only guy who called me bought it.

Sold my '08 F-450 and slide in Lance camper for the new '15 150 Platinum which isn't here yet. Before the 450, I was driving a white Excursion, hence my name.

I traded in my 5.4 09 F150 4 door Lariat 4x4 for a new 2015 F250 Lariat FX4 4x4 with the diesel 440HP, 860 ft lbs. I had F250's before my 150 and went back to them. The power on this diesel is awesome!

 

Traded in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and the wife's 2007 Mazda CX-7.

 

I traded in a 2003 F-250 SC 4X4 for 2015 F-150 SCrew with the v6 ecoboost and tow package. I wanted more towing capacity, the wife wanted more leg room in the back.

 

These trucks are roomy in the back. My neighbor came over to see my new truck and commented that it has more room than his new GMC in the back.
