rear glass rubber fit

I bought a tempered glass kit from Classic Truck Glass. Looks nice.

I got a Precision brand rubber for the rear glass. It doesn't appear to be molded with corners or quite the right size. No effort was required to get the rubber around the glass and unless the rubber shrinks a bit, I don't see the glass fit all the way around in the groove... it's like there's an extra inch or so of rubber. I bought it from C&G before I heard that DC carries better rubber(?).

Thoughts? Is it worth the $30 to order the rubber from DC to see if it fits better?

I replaced all the rubber using DC. They all fit well.

And remember, the rear glass installs from the inside, not the outside like the windshield. Good luck. At least you shouldn't break it, being tempered.

Just ordered a new rubber from Dennis... Looks like it will be a few days before I get that installed.
