Mag wheels

I tend to remain with the old school type wheels like Cragars, American Torque Thrust, and 200S. You may find some of the older wheels in the most unlikely places. I've found some wheels at yard sales that looked to only have clothing, and just sitting in front yards with a for sale sign on them. I found the wheels that are on the front of my F100 under a pile of leaves at a place that sold used tires and hub caps. They were painted flat black and looked pretty ugly, but they cleaned up nicely. I think i gave $25 for the pair. Admittedly that was quite a few years ago, but I still occasionally run up on deals on wheels.

started out with ford steels....
then found these 1960's era Mickey Thompson Raiders... the rim 'was' chrome steel has an aluminum center 5 on 5-1/2, new fitted caps, but the rusty steel ring was dressed up with stainless dust rings (corvette rallye re-pops)... now have a 'rubber rake'... still need to bring the rear down a bit...

LOL. Oh sure, you laugh now. Back in high school I had a 1967 Dodge Charger and I only had 2 each of Torque Thrust wheels and 2 each slotted mags. I ran the slots on one side and the Torque Thrust on the other. I figured you could only see one side of the car at a time. It was suprising how many people never noticed.
