When these were all we had to drive there were a lot of hoods opening and wraping over the cab when we were hauling down the road at the god awful speed of 35-45 mph. A lot of doors flew open when you turned the corner. People didn't have the money to fix the small things, they just used a lot of wire to hold things together. Much better times in a lot of ways.
