Looking for a stock truck

I couldn't stay away. Found myself buying a trailer that needs a larger tow rig than my 1/2 ton yukon. But I need to keep expenses down in order to have a commuter car, and work on my kids rigs.

So my thoughts are - find a stock F250/350 2WD 7.3 extended cab long bed with reasonable miles (150K - 200K) and maintain it to 100% but keep it stock (no PMS!).

Should I rule out the early 99 right off the bat? I probably need that OTW cooling that the 99.5 and up has, but I could add a larger cooler. Early 99's are less expensive going in, but more expensive if I need uppies.

Appreciate any suggestions on what you recommend for this quest.

Cars.com is a good place to start, usually has quite a few depending on how far you want to travel.
