Trailer tires life expectancy

Just curious - a general answer will be great - how long do your trailer tires generally last ?

I am asking mileage wise rather than time wise !

I run mine 3 years. I do not cover them. I just replaced all four last week, this winter was hard on them. I did find some cracking in the sidewall at the beads.

LT tires will run a lot of miles. ST tires about 30K.

I usually get around 20k on ST's. Again it can also depend on the axle alignment. I learned several years ago that every 20 or 30k, go ahead and have the axles aligned as it scrubs the tires. Longer trips is where I got into trouble. Here is a link that helps explain: Axle alignment critical to set wheels and tires in optimum position; TMC manual and educated technicians can help | Distributors, Upfitters content from Trailer Body Builders

After so many blowouts on ST tires on my Airstream, I completely changed out my 15" St's with 16" E rated LT Michelin M/S-2's. I do not worry about tread seperation any more. I will not run ST's except on my 16' utility trailer and then, I will change them every 3 years. ST's are mostly crap no matter which brand, IMHO.
